    Hammock patterns

Where can I get patterns or plans or whatever they're called to make a hammock with attached bug net?

I actually think most people I've read doing this make the hammock first, then get it all set up with the ridgeline and then pin the bug netting around with a person laying in it, and just jerry-rig a pattern that way.

Not saying it's the best way, but it seems to be what most people do.

That's a great way if you're gonna make one or two hammocks. Probably worth making a better pattern if you're gonna make several of the same model.

Problem is...on your first model you'll realize a few things you'll want to change for you second model, and on your second model...you get the idea. So for most DIYers a "pattern" like you buy in the store isn't all that practical.
