Good looking rig. DIY gear always brings ya more satisfaction.

Good looking hammock. Is that a mosquito netting bugnet or no seeum? How was the airflow thru it?
nice job. Hoping to hit those same weights on my next diy setup.
A good caver never loses her pack.
Great job! Based on your hang, would you thruhike the AT with a hammock? Also, I read your info under your avatar, what is Ultralamina 32? Guess I'll go Google it!

It's a diamond shaped piece of noseeum. Air flow is not that good. Both nights were very warm. I found rocking in the hammock makes a nice little breeze if you don't mind the motion. Also I used silnylon for the solid parts. If I did it again I think I'd use regular ripstop or make the whole thing out of netting. I might try making another out of mosquito or tulle to save weight and improve airflow. I also discovered another use for earplugs.... They block the annoying sound of the little biters as they try it infiltrate!
Well DONE!!!
Tell us more about your rig please
