So I am writing this with a tear in my eye...
I have switched over to using bridge style hammocks (custom-made by Prof Grizz) and it is time to pass along my WBBB to somebody else. I know that Brandon is out-of-town so his shop is down, so everybody is going crazy. Maybe I can help at least one person out there...
What I am offering:
I have a like-new Warbonnet Blackbird Double Layer 1.7oz (olive green). It is a 2010 model.
I have swapped out the suspension system to use "gunmetal black" Whoopie slings (from AHE) along with the very awesome and very soft Polyester Tree Straps (camo) also from AHE (I think they are either 6 or 8 footers, don't recall) along with aluminum toggles for easy and quick marlin hitches.
It will come in its original stuff sack with the openings at both ends.
I will also include the AHE 'Snoring Cub Pillows' (black) as it is the perfect size for the WBBB but way to small for my bridge hammock.
Usage:
This hammock has exactly one (1) full-night of usage.
This hammock has an additional three hours of 'nap usage'.
This hammock has never had shoes within it.
Price:
I am asking $200 - shipped - CONUS only.
The hammock is about as new as you can get and it is in perfect condition.
The Whoopie Slings run $30 bucks and the pillow $20 bucks.
So that means I have $225 invested into the setup - before shipping.
So, sure, not much of a savings, but as everybody here at HF well knows... the WBBB does not lose its value, plus with Brandon out-of-town and his shop closed, call it a supply and demand time I suppose. Plus you will be getting an extra goodie or two that I will stuff into the box before I tape it up. If you are a HF 'donating member' I will throw in a pair of Dutch Clips too - if you would like me to.
