indeed i am. expedition manager/leader.
spending six months in costa rica whilst scientists do surveys of various descriptions.
dont get a lot of money to be honest, but free flights, food and accomodation... cant complain!
some of the things ive been doing for the last few years...
jobs are out there if you want them.... very very competitive though.... look into it!!! help out your local scout group or join an outdoors club of some kind....
Not a penny....yet.
We have hopes of making some money on the back-end, but that will be 4 or 5 years from now. Takes a long time to paddle 38,000 miles. I don't think the 'joy' of the adventure would be there if I was working for someone while doing it. That just makes it a job like any other with the required responsibilities. No spank you.
Still be worth the time away just to give some others a chance to catch-up with my post count. I simply talk too much.
Trust nobody!
Once your a senior member can your status be lowered if your dont post anything for a while?
“I think that when the lies are all told and forgot the truth will be there yet. It dont move about from place to place and it dont change from time to time. You cant corrupt it any more than you can salt salt.” - Cormac McCarthy
That was a very cool video. It looks like you have been to many different places. I can't even begin to imagine the experiences you have had.

Ha Trekkingnut! I'm going to have to start catching you up by posting just as many replies as you = )
I've started a DD Hammock group buy on BushcraftUK forum as I'm not having much luck getting my scout ones at a significant discount, so if you want a DD XL tarp, you might be able to get it cheaper through that if you're interested...
HHhhhmmmm, so that's all it takes to be a senior member? Did not know that... Well, at least I don't have to kill anyone, or stuff like that..
By the way, that was an awesome video..
Trekkingnut, That was one fantatsic video!!!! Yours is a lifestyle to be envied! I do not regret the paths my life has led me down. But if I could turn back time I would definitely like to tread some of the same the paths that you have taken. It is obvious that you enjoy all that life has to offer to the fullest degree. All that I can say is keep on doing what you are doing. Good on ya!
