    I'm going to be in the Split Rock area in about two weeks. We will be with two other couples in RVs the other type of camping. But we will be doing some day hikes and other stuff.

    The campsite (pictured) is about 4 miles from the Parking/Camping areas in Split Rock State Park, just outside the northern park boundary along the river. 'Twould be a good, not overly strenuous day hike...lunch by the river! Gorgeous!
