At least you haven't married her. Time to move on ;-)
I got my wife a Blackbird for her birthday after trying it out in the backyard she asked if we could take it on our next camping trip.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
I'm wondering how many people missed the part about her sleeping in my Blackbird all weekend while I slept in the ENO.
I also wonder how many people missed the post about how her complaints about the hammock were followed by request for Fly Creek One for her birthday.
Come to think of it, I wonder how many people actually read all of the posts before responding.
If there's two ways to take my comments, assume it's the lighter and funnier of the two.
I'm trying to go the other way - get the tent guy into the hammock.
Might happen someday - I'm not gonna be pushy. Just warmer and a sounder sleeper than him.
Hey,
You got off pretty easy, it cost me a Timeshare. Long story.
Hahahaha
Torture tomb!!!! BAH!

Not sure how a bb and a one person tent compare size wise but it'd seem they would be equally claustrophobic. She must have something against being aloft. ymmv I suppose
Glad to hear she at least wants to go out with you still. I let my boy sleep in a tent the other night, the river running through it while I was dry as a bone hanging a few feet away should be enough to prevent such discussions in our house again.
I am lucky, my wife thinks I am a freak for spending so much time and energy on hammocks and camping but she sleeps like a dream in our in the hammock. On our first outing with the whole family, I had to head back to the packs for something, and by the time I got back I was the only one left awake, all 4 kids and the wife sawing logs, I guess I tired them out that day.

'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
