Channel end bridge?

Hey guys,
New to hammocking let alone DIY, can I retro my channel end hammock into a bridge style? I am a big guy (305ish) so will that have any impact on that?

I did it once. In hindsight, I think it is simpler to make a new one from scratch. OTOH, you may want to take a look at Grizz's "Dual Mode Bridge" article, maybe there will be potential that you will see in that design.
