    Hung and hooked

Hello from North Georgia. Had the opportunity to try out a hammock and tarp and will never burden my back with the ground again.

I'm a DIYer by nature and am loving all the incredible knowledge and willingness to share here on HF. Sure seems I've stumbled on a great group of folks and looking forward to getting to know everyone. Finalizing tarp, hammock and suspension ideas and been surfing for materials. I'm blessed with a wife who is into quilting, so the sewing a done deal.

I'm a tad on the south side of the half century mark; three adult kids and one in HS; work way too much; church attender; working a volunteer project to get a well put in a Tanzanian village and sit in front of a bloody computer for a living.

Can't wait to start putting up camp in 15 minutes. Now to get the rest of the family to believe.
