Newbie just checking in to say hi..

.. and thanks for the info I got from reading the forum pages so far. We just got back from vacation on the beautiful island of Sardinia, and we had our hammocks slung up using webbing wrapped round the tree trunks - much better for the trees than using rope - thanks for the tip. We have three hammocks, including one beautiful Yucatan hammock. I have a question about this one which I'll be posting separately.
