    Daughter hangin' indoors

Well, I figured I'd test the possibility of setting up mounting points in my oldest girls' room. She was a bit unsure about hanging in her room - until she tried it.

It looks like I'll have to move one of the mounting points to help her get a flatter lay, but she's happy to have a spot to read and nap. Too much sag for me.

    That's awesome...looks like she's definitely enjoying it!

I keep saying I'm gonna do that for Joker, but I always end up just moving the hammock stand into his room instead of drilling holes.

That's the Justin section of her walls. Another section is devoted to Miley Cyrus. Yet another is devoted to various crafts. Don't know where she got that crafting gene from.

    She sure looks happy!

It's tough avoiding too much sag when hanging from ceiling joists in most rooms unless the room is REALLY BIG.

After seeing the setup, my wife said that she would "probably enjoy being able to hang in our bedroom." That's all I needed to hear.

The room is 22 x 18, with 10' ceilings. I figure if I hang the two hammocks angled slightly away from each other I can get close to a 30* angle from joist to hammock if they're about 3' off the ground.

Now if I can just find an old sky chair to rebuild I'm gonna see if I can hang a couple in the living room and replace one of the couches.
