bag to store gear in hammock?????

Saw Shug had a bag to store gear attached at the head of his hammock in one of his videos, and it looked like a good idea to me. Seem like I'm always up during the night digging through my pack for an extra layer of fleece.
Is this a commonly used accessory?

if you have a hh, just clip the bag it came in to the top end of the hammock and use it in the same way... its free....
