    Which one to get?!

After trying more then a few hammock brands I have come to the conclusion that the Hennessy might be the ticket.

I like the the fact it's an all in one package (tarp, straps, hammock, netting). But I wonder what the advantages of each model are.

I want to be able to do some fall early winter camping as well as summers in Ohio and the midwest.

    I am 6'2" and around 265 lbs.

Not to knock the HH but have you looked into the Clark Jungle Hammocks? The NX-200 or NX-250 would fit a person your size and they are a all in one package as well.

No I haven't but thanks! More options to review. I found a Hennessy Hammock Explorer Deluxe Asym on sale for $138. Seemed like a good price and I think the hammock meets my requirements.

So what is better about the Clarks?

Not to hijack your thread, but how soon are you looking to buy? I just picked up a WarBonnet, and will be looking to sell my HH soon. It doesnt have a tarp though, but DOES have snakeskins. I will not sell it until I get the other one though, which should be in a couple weeks.

Thanks for the offer. I am not in a hurry. I have a few things to move myself before purchase. Just want to get the right one.

The Explorer is a good choice but suggest that you go with a side zip version or consider putting $50 aside for a #2 Zipper Mod.

To me a HH bottom entry with zipper mod is probably the most flexible hammock going. The completely topless mode available via the zipper mod is fantastic.
