Do you need a pillow ???

    Hello All

In the process today hopefully of ordering all my hammock gear after lots of research.

    Blackbird Double 1.0
    OES MacCat standard SpinnUL
Te we summer UQ and TQ.

Okay so having never slept in a hammock yet before I have a stupid question.....

Do you need a pillow or something (jacket etc) under your head for support or does the lay/shape of the hammock account for not using one.

Some people swear by pillows in hammock. I find that I like having something in the nap of my neck and sometimes on the side of my head -- a travel pillow -- but extra clothing can work too.

I've also slept comfortably without a pillow because, yes, the hammock does supply some head support. Having a something under your knees is also helpful at times if you find you get leg strain.

I also find something in the nape helpful. Even just a rolled up T-shirt. I have also gone without a pillow. You don't need a full size pillow, just something small to provide a little support.

I like a small pillow in my hammock - especially when I go fetal.

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

I like a pillow Built Arrowhead based off of the need for a little pillow. I could never find rolled up clothes comfortable, and I rarely take enough extra clothes to make much of a pillow from them any way. But most camp and even travel pillows were just not quite right for me. The Cub Pillow Was born almost 1 year ago, we have sold hundreds to hangers all over the world. It is the only pillow on the market (that I know of) specifically designed for hammock use. The Bear was born a week or so latter for those that want just a little bit more.

Ahh yes a pillow for me.

I have one of Pauls creations (the loose stuff Cub) and when I use it I "LOVE" it! The reason I said "when I use it" is because when I first started using a hammock I "HAD" to have something under my neck and head, now after some many nights in a hammock I find that it's not a necessity now as I have forgotten it a couple time's and find that it's a luxe comfort for me now and not a have too! Not sure if this helps you or not!?!?!?
