I got one at the local wm, and it is very much like the kilisto, I actually prefer these, very comfy. My Hennessy only comes out with weather or bugs. I use the stock suspension in a modified way. Two steel rings and a giarda backed up with a simple slipknot. Super fast and easy.
Wish we had a Walmart here in Scotland but it looks like you guys in the states have all the fun!!!!!!

There is also another thread on this hammock as well.

Saw them at my local walmart and wondered how they would do.. They were on the shelf in the camping section just down the isle from the tents!
Not available at this time!
Also, the GT Ultralight is $35 on their site...?
New to hammocking. I've been reading the forums as well as watching a bunch on youtube. I decided to try the Equip hammock before committing much time or money and am pleased with it so far....
I hung it off the railing at home before venturing out. Once at the campground, I found the rope provided was way too short for the trees at the Grandy Creek KOA. I improvised and hung the hammock off a rope some friends used for impromptu tug of war games... It hung well this way but I kept having to adjust my height as something kept loosening.
I'm 6'2" and upwards of 240#. The hammock itself held up just fine and I slept quite comfortably last night in a Costco mummy bag , and the hammock.
I've gotten pretty good at removing the hammock from its bag and stuffing it back in, but see other systems (like skins, or a double open ended bag) and think I'll change things up soon. I'm definitely going to change the suspension since I couldn't hang where I was. For now, a scavenged set of tie down straps will work. I'll add SMC rings to both sides too as well as play around with different hangs and eventually set a ridge line.
My purpose for trying a hammock in the first place? I've recently been introduced to hike in camping and see an advantage to reducing the weight of my pack... Led me to youtube and eventually hammock camping!
Conclusion: My kids want hammocks now... and I'm impressed with the quality of what I got with this Equip for how much I paid. It will accompany me on future camps this year as I learn more about this subject. I intend to make my own setup eventually.
Regards,
Dennis
