Big Jim Mac, forgot to mention that I have two younger siblings who "sees the world a little different" as you put it
My younger brother might actually love hammocking... Think I'll give it a try! Thanks for a great idea!

One of my all time favorite pics: my son around age 5 taking a nap in the old ENO on the back patio of my old apartment in KY. A 3x5 of this one still sits on my dresser to this day.

    Big Jim -

The pics of your daughter strike a chord with me as well. We have a daughter with autism spectrum disorder. Not fully diagnosed, but the docs and therapists lean toward Asperger's. "Seeing the world a bit differently" describes her well. She has the attention span of a Cocker Spaniel puppy and runs FLAT OUT all day.

I was fortunate enough to capture a rare moment when she actually napped in her mom's hammock. I also managed to get shots of my oldest, her friend and our youngest hanging out in the front yard on a different day The last two are of my setup on my first camping trip using a hammock.

Shortly after I got mine, the kids had to try it out!!
Relax, monsters under the hammock are easily distracted by twister-playing squirrels.

Here's me and my youngest watching the Independence Day parade. The hammocks are both ENO Doublenests. We're hanging tandem from trees that are probably forty feet or so apart.
