Sweet! I'm really liking that tarp.
Gargoyle that is sweet. That may be the ticket for the winter. With the lighter colors it may blend real well in the snow. Or you can try the dunes. Closest your going to get to a desert in MI.

Dang Gargoyle looks even better than you described it ... very nice looking tarp.

Thanks guys, it looks good. But its heavy.....50 oz. But for the right situation (canoeing/stealth) it'd be sweet.
Video coming soon..starring yours truly

Hummm, I thought I put up a post here but I don't see it. Anyway Gargoyle very nice tarp! I am kicking around making one of these myself. Why is it so heavy, material used? Also what are the demensions especially the ridgeline? Thanks
What would be cool is if you could find some lightweight hunting camo fabric in ripstop nylon or polyester and make an Ogee out of that. Pick whatever pattern you would want. That would be really stealth in the piney woods.
Great looking tarp. Perhaps you should send it to someone in Arizona or So Cal to do some desert type hanging.
Cheers
Brian
The fabric is the heavy part, Bags. My other ogees in 1.1 sil weigh in at 15 oz. This fabric is almost canvas like. Bonded to a green scrim on the inside (you can see the green in photo #1 of the original post) and polyurethaned. Super tough stuff with no real stretch factor.
I wasnt a fan of the weight, but the camo/stealth factor won me over. Just another fun medium to use.
11" foot at the ridge. Same as in the other Ogee videos and pics.

Looks cool gargoyle. Bet it would look good in 1.9oz + urethane coating or 1.9oz home-sil Multicam.
Still on the heavy side, but (shhhhhh-wispering)....Stealthy
Yeah, I did the first few prototypes in digital pu, they came in at 30 oz. approx.
But they look stealthy fer sure.
