    Props to Redden Marine,Rockywoods, Quest

I live in Iowa, and I have ordered on several occasions from these three companies, and my shipment ALWAYS arrives in 2 days from my order. Redden is in Washington state,Rockywoods is in Colorado, and Quest in Florida. I also always choose the CHEAPEST form of shipping these companies offer. I do A LOT of online ordering, and ALWAYS choose the cheapest form of shipping, and the merchandise is ALWAYS at my door in 2 days; 3 days MAX. 99% of the time, it only takes 2 days. To pay for any other way of shipping is just a waste of $$ imo. AWESOME SERVICE from all three. Redden Marine is where I order my amsteel blue, and Rockywoods and Quest Outfitters carries everything from sil nylon, to webbing, buckles, lots of fabrics, and you name it. Also, don't forget to use "hammock forums" as the discount code on Redden Marine. It will save you some money. I thought I would past this info on.

I just ordered 120yds of Amsteel Blue from Redden Marine. Looking forward to making some Whoopie Slings, and moving the ring buckle suspensions to something else!

I followed you over here from the ZS forums, and took your advice about that Amsteel Blue. This is amazing stuff! (I just need to learn to splice it and all that).

I've already put orders in at your second and third link, but that first one is new to me! Thanks for sharing that!

LR, the whoopies are very easy to make, once I made up my mind to quit fighting the rope, and learn to make a taper correctly. A small pair of vice grips for the darning needle makes it super easy for me. I actually had a wrist that felt sprained for a week when I made my 1st couple. I was fighting the rope, and it was a battle. Now I can sit on the couch watching TV and whip them out in a couple of minutes.

That sounds like I'm making the same mistakes that you did. I'm struggling with the tools I'm using and not sure what to do better.
