Bikepacking with a hammock?

Hey guys, thinking of upgrading my feet to wheels and wanted to know if anyone here bikepacks? I'd love to see some pics and also to know if its changed your hang setup or gear selection compared to hiking on foot?

Lots of posts here at HF on bikepacking. It is done by several posters here.
Search function is your friend. Someday the mods will coelesce all the posts into
one sub-forum hopefully.
I've done some....the only major change/difference in gear is ditching the backpack and installing frame bags in my case (http://www.revelatedesigns.com/) but most use panniers.
The other difference is carrying bike tools.
Another little difference for us is carrying much much less food because our rides are basically on rail-trails and most of them come close to food on a daily basis.
My knees and feet are almost worn out so I understand the move to bikes and kayaks for continued exploration!

Ive recently got into it because of all the old Rail Roads around here that have been converted to bike paths- and the lack of hiking trails.

Going to be doing my first real adventure on the Maah Dah Hey trail this summer. 100 miles of pure single track through the Badlands of North and South Dakota!

I was joking about the wheels on the backpack of course but have you looked at the little trailers you can attach to your bike? I bet you could put all your gear in one. That really sounds like fun, Indiana is doing the same thing with the old rails, never wanted to walk that many miles on pavement but biking...hmmm

Many states have begun to do the same thing. In fact I believe the plan is to make at least one continuous bike path from coast to coast using the old rail roads. May take awhile to complete, but that would be an awesome ride!!

Hardest part I see is fitting the quilts. I really hate super compressing down even though it can be done. It's one reason I use a larger backpack so it stays more lofted. The hammock and tarp would be no issue. Should be able to strap those anywhere.
A little trailer would be nice on the rail trails.
