Fantastic pics. Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!
The trees are drawing me near, I've got to find out why?
Those gentle voices I hear, explain it all with a sigh.

Even duct-tape can't fix stupid.
Norwood,
Awesome report! Glad to hear someone else knows where Eldridge is located. I grew up in Carbon Hill and went to church in Eldridge most of my early life. We used to carry cakes and food to the Children's Home every Sunday.
Small world. Thanks for supporting ECH.
If God had meant for us to sleep on the ground,
He wouldn't have created trees....
“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to the body and soul.” - John Muir
Awesome pics. Thinking about taking another long trip in a year or so. Did the 650 have problems verses the 1200? Been debating about what off road long distance bike to get.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
One of us had the Dakar 650...absolutely no issues..
Just usual service and care...had to lube chain each day and so on...
Some limits with the amounts of gear he could carry...
He and the 1200GS needed to carry extra fuel tank...only time needed was Haul Road..
On my R 1200GS adventure ...I was good with the 8 gallon plus fuel tank.
The guy with the Dakar did trailer his to Redmond Oregon in our supply support trailer... I rode out and met him there.
"Oh Lord I pray, let me live long enough to do everything they say I have done"
Great trip report and photos. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
