Ambulo tua ambulo.
Nice gesture fella
This is weird and I think not a good use of this forum.
no mas, no mas!!! I am now up to 20 PMS, next time I am going to charge $223.00 for a a crummy gnome stove! let us see how many PMs I get then! but thanx for all the interest, bridges are really quite simple it is just that Griz with all his "larnin and methematical idea and formulae (that is plural ) likes to snow the unwashed ones. That is what the Univ. of Illinois, does for you. (which happens ,where after about a gillion years they gave me a degree and kicked me out! long ago in another universe!) gnome
now, now gnome...be nice...
But you're right. Instructions for a bridge hammock are easy enough to put on a tee-shirt. The HF store ought to sell them.
1. Make the hammock 6-12 longer than your height.
2. Use a 6-9 inch deep suspension cut.
3. Any continuous means of tracing the suspension curve is fine.
4. Have 1.5 - 1.25 times the length of fabric under a spreader bar as the length of the spreader bar
5. Make sure the side of the suspension triangle is at least 75% the length of the spreader bar.
