    see ya friday!

I expect to get there Friday by 2pm - earlier if possible to help with setup.
Bringing a dish for Sat and something for Friday. Definitely condiments, trash bags, food.

First time at Batona and coming in from north as per kayak karl's directions. Anybody know if non 4 wheel drive vehicles can get in (or should I just bring a big shovel )?

Bring a shovel just in case.

I drove back to the camp site and only the last 1.5 miles were not plowed. There were tire tracks already so I nocked down the middle as best I could to make it passable by lower cars/trucks. There was a 2 wheel drive truck going back and forth pulling people behind it in sleds. I don't think there should be any issues tomorrow getting back.

I was in my 4wd Durango today, tomorrow I'll be in a f-150 2wd. Only issues might come after the left into the camp site. But we should have enough people to get anyone unstuck.

They are calling for 2-4 inches this weekend so this is going to be fun fun fun! First some snow tomorrow during the day then clear til Saturday night when more snow comes! Mother nature wants to make sure we don't run out of it while we are there.

I'm thinking that there will be alot not showing up. But whatever, WE will have fun!

We will take care of any road issue area's tomorrow. Oh yeah, There was a downed tree in the road that had been cut so cars/trucks could get through. We will see if we have to move it tomorrow.

Well, the car is all loaded up, and since I had a (mostly) free day at home today, I prepped an entry for the Coup de Grub (long-shot). I still have that nagging feeling like I'm forgetting something though. Oh well, looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
