BTW, I like your new tarp design. It's simplistically clean. You obviously put a lot of thought and consideration into it. Very well done.
SP, Presently I'm only using silnylon. The PU is kinda heavy, a completed Ogee weighed in at 34 oz. approx. IIRC.
The sil versions are averaging 15-15.5 oz.

If your really interested in the PU, let me know.

    Thanks for the compliments.

The desert camo Ogee is extreme at 54 oz, but I like camo.

G - Are you doing the make your own sil method on these tarps? I've not found a source for camo silnylon.

Knotty, The first few prototypes were done in Digital ACU 1.9 PU ripstop. Once most of the design work was finalized, I upgraded to sil, and cut the weight in half.

The desert camo Ogee is made from 2.?-3.0? PU and its a pig! It weighs a lot (obviously) at 54ish oz. but it was camo.
There is no camo sil available that I know of.

And dipping some camo ripstop is in my near future, thats why I asked how its been working. Hopefully some others that have done the homemade sil dipping process can chime in with their results?

Shot some video and thought you all would like to see a corner of my world.
    Muskegon Dunes

I set up on the ridge of a sand dune.
Did a little demo of some shockcord loops which hold tarp when rolled up.

    Thanks for watching.
