It has taken me some time to post this, family issues, and I am please to present to the HF community a patent pending device that can combine, for some of us, two very lovable obsessions. These obsessions are of course Hammocks and then motorcycles!!!!!!!!!!!! Without further adiue let me introduce you to the Motorcycle Hammock Stand (pics are below) that is produced by Mark Wilson out of Albright, WV. I saw this while I was at the Black Hills Motorcycle rally in Sturgis, SD. I got the oppotunity to talk to the owner and his "model" for a few minutes and found out that this stand was built so he could rest while he participated in the first Motocycle Challenge from Key West, FL to Homer, AK. Thats right boys and girls this is a distance race that covers 8650 and has to be completed in 14 days. I found out that the stand can be assembled in about 2 minutes and fits in a 3.5" dia X 25" nylon storage bag. It is capable of supporting a 250 lb rider and is being developed to fit all (new) Harley Davidson motorcycles and later other Euro Sport Touring cycles will be added to the list.
