    somewhat new to hammock camping

    Hello all,

I might be somewhat new to hammock camping, but not entirely.

I happened to stumble upon ENO back in 2008ish and was so mystified by it that I had to participate. So I bought a onelink singlenest and a doublenest for when the girlfriend wants to tag along.

I've used them multiple times, and I've been happy other than when upon waking I'm almost 2 inches from the ground while starting at about 15 inches. Can someone say STREEEEEEEEEEECH?

I just found this site about a month ago and have been lingering and studying all the new and better things that have happened since I've learned of hammock camping, and boy was I surprised. Since then, I've talked myself into the WBBB, HH Deep Jungle XL, whoopie slings, MW3C UQ, Dutch Clips, amsteel, MacCat Deluxe Spinn, WB Superfly, single tarp ridge lines, self-tensioning lines, Trek Light VersaTrek.

Some of these things are going to be gifts to my father and brother as they're interested, but those gifts might turn out to be the ENO stuff

Anyway, now I'm hooked, and there's no turning back.

Big thanks to Stu at whoopieslings.com, Brian at MacCat, Brandon at WB. Your products never cease to amaze me and I look forward using them in the near future.

Wow, you bought all that? Cool!
BTW, there's nothing wrong w/ that ENO hammock, you just need to get rid of the nylon "Slap Straps". that's were the stretching is.
The ENO is a great hammock w/ the right suspension on it.

I agree, I've never had any problems with the ENO hammocks themselves, only their nylon straps. I've had comfortable, dry, and bug free nights in them.

seems like after all this time their slap straps are well known to stretch like this that ENO would have addressed it and changed their straps. Puzzling business practice.

I must say that is quite an impresive list of acquisitions. The bug has bitten you hard. Not to worry though you are in good company. Welcome!
