Hang sites Cape Girardeau, MO & Lubbock, TX

Looking for a hammock-friendly park with shower facilities in the Cape Girardeau area. A hiking trail close by is a big plus.

Have a few days in Lubbock, TX... looking to BP and hang. Primitive sites and/or stealth on this short adventure. I am thinking it might be tough to find good hangs in this area.

    PM's would be much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Without Shug...

    Sensai Shug,

You have taught me well. But, the Yeti wearing Blackbird must jump from it's nest... or into a Crowsnest... sometime.

I promise a prompt trip report to you Sir.

alright Cape Girardeau! The Trail of Tears State Park is fairly close by (like fifteen miles from town) and I believe the campsite there has a bath house. It's a nice park too with good hiking trails (for MO).

    whooo buddy

Sounds like you are going to have some fun! I am also looking forward to your trip report. Are you going to be out there solo? I am just asking because as creepy as it is for TWO guys to be whispering out in the woods.....it is even creepier for a guy to be whispering out there all alone...

Wishin' i were out there too

Do enjoy your solo time....but just keep the whispering to a minimum and you should be alright.

Why is it okay to sing to yourself, but everybody gets all wierded out because someone is talking to themself. Actually it is a very healthy to do....it is called "Self Talk".

I remember seeing a tree last time I was in Lubbock. Or was that Abilene?
