    No problem.
glad you got the stand built but to clarify just incase anyone else has never considered hanging ANYTHING from a roof...I used a stud finder to find the wood. i then used a small nail to tap through the sheet rock and locate the center of the wood. screw in the eye bolt and hang anything your want. if you ever want to remove the eyebalt, just fill the hole with spackling or white toothpaste.

Any one know where to get fittings like these cheaper than the prices on this site? http://www.simplifiedbuilding.com/st.../kee-lite.html

These would be crazy strong and look really clean. The downside is as I figure it, its over $180 just in fittings.

Those do look sweet. I guess if you wanted to make a really fancy one, then $160 would seem reasonable.

They have 30* fittings, so you could make a rabbit ear stand!
