Backyard trial underway tonight. It's a steamy 74 down here in GA, but I'll have the Thermarest ready just in case.
The BB is one more handsome hammock. I got a nice flat lay the first time up, and only a little tweaking req'd to get it just right. Stitches, seams, knots, materials- all is top notch and well put together. My HH sil hex is a perfect fit and is rigged in porch mode for a partly cloudy night.
My order was placed on Aug. 9 and received on the 29th- a 20 day turnaround was better than I expected given the backlog. Thanks, Brandon Let me get a J O B and I'll be back for a Superfly.

I think I'm going to cry.

My WBBB also shipped on Wednesday and it still has not arrived. It sounds as if I'm the only one still held in suspense.

What is worse is that tonight would be a beautiful night to try it out. Bright moonlight, light winds, no humidity and temps in the low 70's. Very rare nice weather for August in the Outer Banks.

    Bwaaah! Sob, sob.

I don't care if we have a hurricane when it arrives, I'll be out hanging.

Sweet photos, Life. Great looking rig, and the coyote brown is only (I think) available in the 1.0.

Sure looking forward to what you all find from your hangs in this hammock. I placed my order very recently, so won't be here for a while. Fine by me--I'll live through you all for now. Ciao.

P.S. Keep us all posted how that DL works, and if it keeps a pad square under you, etc.

I never had any trouble with my Thermarest ccf pad shifting around in mine...it actually helped spread the hammock a bit too.

The DL is great for keeping things in place, but I really wish I had the dinero for an underquilt- IMO the hammock is more comfortable w/o the pad. It does spread the hammock out, but I found myself having to "balance" myself on the pad, and I had to readjust its position several times to get it just right.

Had me to the list of those eagerly awaiting a blackbird. I just pulled the trigger on a dual 1.1.
