Thumbs up Shouting from the roof tops!!!

I am shouting from the roof tops to let everyone know that I really appreciate the prompt, courteous, and quality service delivered by scittlefield at Backwoods Daydreamer.

I submitted my order on Sunday night and received my order in the mail with in a matter of days (over a thousand miles away). Thanks so much! Scott, you run a top rate business.

Only one thing about your site that confuses me...

Why, when you cater to hammock camping and really only sell thing having to do with hammocks, do you market "Tent Stakes" on your site?

I will be DIYing an 11' gathered end hammock w/ removable bug netting (not sure how I am going to do this yet) with the material. As soon as I start this project I will be posting pics, video and project updates in a dedicated project thread. I plan on having a 100% DIY setup when I am done.

    Chickenwing,

I concur, Scott helped me get what I needed to do my own tarps. I had lots of questions and he took the time to answer them all. He gave me a breakdwon of exactly what I needed and how much.

I really appreciated all his effort. A++ in my book.

Because "Ground Attachment Devices" sounded too much like marketing speak.

Scott does provide great service as do all of the cottage gear makers here.

    Cheers

Could go with "Tarp Stakes"? Thats what most of them are used for when it comes to hammocking anyways.

I'm afraid most folk just know them as "tent stakes". But whatever you call them... they work great for tarps and hammock tie-outs.

Thanks for the encouragement folks. I'm often up till midnight trying to get orders out next day.

I'm sorry we're having to focus solely on DIY materials and accessories for now with no real timeline for tarps again. There are, however, some fantastic cottage vendors here that can take care of your tarp needs in the interim. By all means, utilize them.
