Rock--another very very professional video. You did a great job showing all the plusses of this hammock. Too bad Dixiecritter would not appear
I do have issues with this 'line' of hammocks but it's not PC to discuss them here. If anyone wants another opinion PM me.

Nice review. I did one on my Explorer. I'm apparently not a camera person. Or a review person...Well done!

Good morning Top and good review, thanks. I am considering a HH (misspent youth and now titanium knees) and doing the home work. The Deep Jungle sounds good especially with the reflective pad coupled with a closed cell one. My big consideration is can both pads be left in place and still use Snake Skins?

I am also thinking about the HH Explorer Deluxe with a Supershelter add on. Between the DJ and ED (with SS) hammocks (cold camp being the factor) which way would you go? Bulk is more of a factor than weight as the Hammock will be used on motorcycle trips and a few extra ounces will mean nothing.

The reflective pad does not pack or roll small. You would not be able to roll up the hammock and reflective pad and cc pad + tarp into a roll that a #4 snakeskin could fit over.

You will have to remove the pad for the snake skins to work. I'm personally not a big fan of the Supershelter. I't is probably just me, some people like them. If I were looking at the two options you are I would do a Deep Jungle. But the Super Shelter's pads do pack down small.
