    I spoke to a park ranger late yesterday and he confirmed the ban as outlined in my first post with one correction: the ban actually takes effect today and not yesterday as I originally posted. The actual order is posted on their website http://www.nps.gov/shen/index.htm

    Hmm, I'm about to get there. I can see myself getting fined if that is the case. It is going to drop into the 30's or lower in the next week. No way I would go without warm food and drink them.

    BTW, I may be wrong I haven't confirmed it yet, but I wouldn't count on anything that says seasonal as being open. Everything else I am seeing labeled that is long since closed down.
    Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

    If it helps I just checked the guide and the one listed is open until Nov. 4th.
