    Lightweight Blanket

Does anyone make a lightweight blanket for warmer temps?

    What are you using?

I was about to ask the same thing. I'm a rather warm sleeper, and being confined to a hammock, it's hard to throw the blanket to the side like I do in a bed.

For the warmest of the warm times, just a sheet will do.

For something purpose-specific, you could do worse than a Coolmax Liner.

I use a little fleece throw blanket, apparently from one of the airlines. It is just a 6ftX4ft piece of thin gray fleece. It works pretty well for me.

How many pairs of underwear do you own? Do you refer to them as "extras", simply because you're not wearing all of them as we speak?

+1 on the poncho liner. I have used mine down to about 40 degrees. I also put a drawstring in one end and glued it together to form a footbox.

Poncho liner is what I took for two weeks on the AT around Memorial Day. Loved the smaller size and lower weight.

When it's really hot out, and I want to throw the blanket to the side, I'll drape it over my ridgeline so that it's over my lower torso. It works well for me.

I recently used a Therm-A-Rest Tech Blanket at around the high 50s low 60s. It folds down into it's own small pocket which is nice. It has some snaps to make a footbox or attach to a Therm-A-Rest sheet. I wouldn't trust it much lower though.
