    Hi all from PA

Quick intro, I am Joe from Pennsylvania.

Up to now i have been a casual hammock enjoyer, had a cotton rope hammock in the backyard for a few years, upgraded to a one with a pad so no more patterns on my back and legs last year. I have been becoming more interested in backpacking lately and when i stumbled across hammock hanging rather than tenting i instantly knew that it was for me.

at 250+ lbs i have had problems with sagging in the past. Last week i bought an ENO Double Nest, seems to work well so far.

nope no snake eyes, the name has a long story behind it but in some respects it is like calling a fat guy "Tiny" since i am not a big fan of snakes in general.

    Hello Crotalus / Joe,

    Welcome.
I was born and raised in Harrisburg for 17yrs. Still travel back regularly to visit family.

ENO is a good start. You can wrap it over you to avoid bugs or falling acorns.
We have never used a bug net with it while camping in the Catskills Mts.

The ENO straps are not thought highly of here on HF. Stretch ! stretch !

    We think that also.
( having to adjust the straps, when you get up to urinate in the night,
Then you think, oh well had to get up anyway to go. )
