I ordered last week and they were able to give me a partial refund to reflect the sale price. Apparently they'll do that for order no older than two weeks old.
So I'm happy!
One for me, one for Wife. score, thanks for posting this deal
Suckered me in. I had two choices, lose 50lbs to get a small or gain about 5 lbs to make XXL. I figure what the heck, Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming, how hard could it be to fit into a XXL.
Heck, I'm hoping that I can get down to fitting the XXL that I just ordered
Trouble with XXL and above is that they are always too long, proving once again that it's not that I am overweight, It's just that I'm undertall.
The Eddie Bauer stores still have these coats and vests and will honor the web price.
I was talking to the store manager and she mentioned the reason they are clearing them out is because they have a problem leaking down. Supposedly the new version coming out later this year will use a more down proof fabric. I returned the sweater and vest I got, because it was pouring down out of it after only trying it on a handlful of times.

Now only XXL
Rockets, BBQ, Backpacking, Hanging. Not necessarily in that order!!
Thanks, had to get that one, only wish it was the hooded version, oh well.
At this price it's still a deal! I have had this happen before and you would be surprised how much can "leak" out without any significant difference in quality. On other products with similar problems, I have had good success with using Scotchguard and seamsealer to reduce or eliminate the leakage. Doesn't make you feel better if you paid full price but at 1/3 price its definitely an option. Got one myself even though the red would not have been my choice. At this price and considering it will probably be an undergarment, who cares. Warmth is the issue!
