    I got AmSteel 7/64 from him last year. Didn't see it on there now! I used it for the hammock main line. I think it weighs in at 1.3 grams a foot and a 1400# break strength.

    tarps to ground? Triptease so I don't break my neck in the dark and I can find my hammock when I go out for a midnight ramble on dark and stormy nights...it's reflective and doesn't stretch...holds a tautline hitch really well...

    #18 braided nylon construction line from home depot. about 1.5mm, and comes in neon yellow for visibility.(dark green too). it's incredibly cheap, light, and plenty strong.
    it is a little stretchy, so tarp tensioners are not as necessary as with no stretch lines such as spectra.

    Some stores call it masons line...tuff stuff and pretty stretchy.
