    Donīt you understand Danish?
    (Does anyone understand Danish)

Karmeloso was used in the danish-language-fun-youtube-sequence that I posted in the summer-SKAHO-thread earlier this year.
Havenīt you seen that video? Itīs a blast, youīve gotta see it
There was another word also but I donīt remember that one.

Here you have the clip again:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-mOy8VUEBk

It was "kamelåså" and the other word was "syggelekokle".....

Yeah, i saw that the first time around
    I just didn't remember KARMELOSO .

    Back on track.
Any point in bringing coolers ?
Not to chill stuff but the opposite.
Maybe you mentioned this before ?

Do you have any other obvious cold weather tips
    to us ignorant Stockholmians ?

    No, I wouldnīt bring coolers.
Instead I will think of what food to bring and how itīs prepared.
For example, if I will bring some meat I will precut it before I pack it.
That way, itīs easy to cook even if itīs deep frozen.

I will probably bring pancakes, like the ones you ate on sunday, but I will put pieces of cooked pork in it (before I put the pancake in the oven). When the pancake is done I will cut it into pieces before I pack it, that way itīs easy to heat in a frying pan with some butter.

I will also (probably) bring some meat that is cut into thin pieces. That will also be easy to cook and eat.

    Cool weather tips?
Well, warm clothes, many layers, big warm shoes with wool socks (as many as possible) is some obvius tips. Something to sit on while resting, a pad or something like that. Warm gloves. I usually have some made of wool with the fingertips cutoff inside some waterproof thicker gloves.

    Hammock insulation?
Iīve tried with reindeerskins in the hammock and I think it will work. I havenīt slept yet but it feels great. They are much wider than a pad and they insulate more. I will inform you more when Iīve tried sleeping a cold night.

I will plan more about food and clothes and I will try to make a list so you can see what I plan to bring.

Hmm... iīve got a lot to learn when it comes to real cold weather camp survival. I usually just bring freezedried foods, soups etc - but what you have going sounds very delicious!

Great info to begin with !

    The food needs some thinking.
Do you see any problems with Pre cut frozen bacon.
I think i skip my pre cooked, dried bacon dish, because i think i need the extra fat!

Another thought is that after you have eaten,
you usually need to extract some waste.
That kind of feels exciting in -25 C.
I bet you do it fast!

I meant: is it allowed to bring fresh/frozen meat when flying???
Thats a bonus when youre skinny - you can eat bacon with good conscience

    Mmm... more bacon
