Beyond my skills at this point, just wondered if it would conform fairly well to the body to keep from forming air pockets from being stiff.Eh, pretty drapable... are you thinking of adding a head-hole or something

Yes. Using 1.1 or 1.5 ripstop or 1.9 uncoated (non-DWR) would make the material softer and make it conform better, but the 1.9 DWR (the black, in my case) isn't too bad.

I wonder how you would make the channels for an HH, being you need a slit down one end of the hammock for the door.

I would most likely just move the UQ out of the way to get in, and readjust it (as best you can) from the slit. Getting out, just put one foot out and move it aside... this is how it is done with the KAQ as well.
So, no channels required, if I understood what you meant.

Readjusting the underquilt to form around the hammock (since you moved it to one side prior to getting in) after entry into an HH just looks difficult.
I maybe wrong, never used one.
In my limited experience, adjusting the quilt once in the Hennessy is actually not too hard. You can actually grab the edge of the quilt through the hammock fabric and pull. The quilt will slide on the bottom. I've managed to raise the quilt several inches on one side this way.

Do you have to use 550 paracord for the channels? I have to drive out of my way to get some so...
I have regular paracord that is basically just cord, heh. Isn't that all you really need, just cord?
Yep just cord, or shock cord, or mason's line will all work...
