Is it possible to put an internal ridgeline on a switchback? I rather not have to tie the bugnet up to the tree.

I don't think there is anything to make fast to on the inside...

I may be missing something... It's a gathered end hammock, isn't it? Just run the RL out through the gather and attach it like on the BB.
Bad spellers of the world Untie!
I've only set it up once and I am hoping someone already tried to put an internal RL on it. It seems to me that the hammock lays so flat that the gathered end is not much higher than my head.

Actually, it's me that's missing something! I don't know how easy it is to disassemble and reassemble a Switchback, or any hammock that has a permanent bugnet. I also don't know what height above the gathered end is ideal, as Dutch mentioned. Surely, Dutch can figure it out!

On my Claytor, I burned small holes in the center of the grosgrain that the spreader bars attach to. I was more comfortable doing this than making holes in the weaker netting.
