Warbonnet El Dorado Hammock 1 of 5

Some of you know the history of these, but to make a long story short, these were the first series of hammocks Brandon planned on producing, but HH sued over patent infringement and alas the design was buried(So I've heard). Hammock is very similar to the blackbird, but doesn't have footbox or shelf BUT is LIGHTWEIGHT plus retaining the WB SUPERIOR quality!

This was never used by me, but I need an underquilt far more then another hammock. The El Dorado is a single layer 1.1, so keep that in mind. It comes with a storage sack and suspension.

Please PM with trade offers. I'm ONLY looking for down! If someone wants to make a cash offer, please PM also, but trades are favored.

This is the the one you bought in June from Just Jeff, correct? If you don't find a trade Cannibal posted back in that thread that he'd buy it from you for the same that you paid.

FWIW, I never used this hammock either. Not even sure I set it up, actually, b/c I bought my current El Dorado at the same time. So this is basically a brand new hammock of a model you can't buy any more. It's olive drab!

What is the weight of this hammock? If the weight includes suspension, what type is being used? I might be interested in a down UQ swap.

I've got one of the 5. I measured it, rather I think I remember measuring it, at 19 oz all inclusive.

    It's a gem.

My 1.9 version weighs 17 oz without the suspension.

Edit: Actually, just found an old post with the weight on my 1.9 ElDorado:

Warbonnet ElDorado, BlackBishopBag, & Suspension - 27.9 oz
    Short ccf sit-pad - 3.8 oz
    Gear hammock - 3.6 oz
    Warbonnet Superfly – 19.9 oz

    6.19lbs.

My suspension has changed (owf webbing now), but I haven't thought to throw it back on the scale. The couple of ounces saved will put me just below 6 pounds.
Heehee, I had a ccf pad and a gear hammock on my list back then.
    Trust nobody!

This is 1.1 oz so it should be lighter, and the suspension that came with it is Vectran (like Amsteel) and tree huggers...should only be a couple ounces.
