    fabric proposal

after exchanging several emails to Ed Speer, he pointed me to Westmark. Exchanging several emails with them, i found out that the min. order is 25 yards per fabric per color. they have a nice selection of ripstop nylons. I would be getting some forest green 1.1 sil and 1.9 DWR (color undecided).

I would not get all 50 yards, hopefully i could split it with some other people.

I did not see any silnylon in there site, but upon emailing them, they didn't say they didn't carry it (didn't ask specifically). So hopefully someone will want to split an order.

I want about 8-10 yards of the sil and about 5 yards of the DWR. I am considering the kelty green.

if they do not have silnylon, what is the 1.1 sil in forrest green you speak of? sil and silnylon are the same thing.

i just checked out their site. no mention of sil or of polyester fabric like their google add says.

i wonder if they would be a good source for hot air baloon fabric

i know sil is silnylon. i could not find it on their webpage, but when I mentioned it to them in an email asking if i can order small amounts of these items, they never said we don't carry silnylon. i never asked directly becasue they didnt object to it and that Ed Speer said they have it. Im just saying i couldn't find it on the website.
