I am, admittedly, a hybrid between ultra-light and comfort weight backpacker. What I carry in ultralight gear, I make up for in convenience gear. It balances well and I enjoy it.
With the cold season approaching I'm going to be in need of something under my feet to cover what the 2/3 length UQ does not. In the past I've carried a small thinsulate pad. I had a thought this weekend while sitting on the ground at my back country site. "I wonder if the weight of a crazy creek chair is worth it to be a little more comfortable when sitting? Wait, I wonder if that chair offers any insulation. Hmm.."
So, could I use a crazy creek chair in my hammock under my feet in colder temps?
