yawn--yet another couple of Grizz bridge videos

Nothing much happening here folks, unless you're a bridgehead, you can just move along.

So this Grizz guy, can't he learn to edit video for crying out loud? Spends an afternoon shooting, and as much as half of it gets put into these vids. Mistake on youtube's part to extend the video limit to 15 minutes, encourages lack of editing discipline.

So it seems some guy got Grizz to build an all-black bridge hammock for him. The whole body is made of 1.9 micro-fiber polyester. Dang, ALL the hairs on that guy will be standing on end from the static electricity that stuff holds. He is a gram-weenie, but lives in bug country, didn't feel like taking a chance on one of those dodgy half-length bug-nets. Grizz talked him into full security closure with zippers.

OK so Grizz is always looking for a chance to jump in front of a camera, grand-standing in a classroom isn't enough for him, go figure. So he figures Mr. Soon-to-be-new-bridge-hammock-owner could use an on-line "how-to" guide, and that gives ol' Grizz a chance to mug around again, nattering on about issues in putting in full zippered bug-nets.

No girls here, no jokes, no stunts or hammock crashes. Just that Grizz droning on about bridge hammocks. But you know, for a hammock that is fully enclosed, this one isn't bad weight wise. Stuff-sack, suspension and hammock (withouth spreader bars) run 15.3 oz. One spreader bar comes in at 5 oz (but a purist could use a hiking pole), the other at just 1.75 oz. Not too bad...

So if you used hiking poles, this whole kit would weigh 8.55 oz? That's an awesome weight, especially for a full-length zippered bug net and 1.9 osy fabric. Kudos to Grizz of the Third Person.

Maybe it's my setup, but the audio is too low for me to really hear what you are saying. I made sure that I had both the laptop sound all the way up and the video's sound bar all the way maxed. I am also a bit hard of hearing. Maybe on a different computer I can hear you better...

Grizz, that looks wider at the mid section than the one you made me. Is it really or is it a trick of the camera?

Id be interested in a wider one if your game.

    Spectacular project, Grizz...

Do you happen to have a still photo of the corners where the zipper goes 'round?

You had me until you got to rolling up the bug net. Can't you make that spring loaded like a tapemeasure. It would be so much more convenient.

    Sweet setup.
    Thanks for the video.
