anyone in GA wanna loan their BB

    Hey folks

I was wondering if there was anyone close to me (North GA) that wanted to loan/rent their warbonnet BB to me for an evening or 2 so i can test it out to see if i would like it. I have a hennessey but i will be returning it (REI ), i just cant get on with it personally....so i will have a bunch of cash to throw at another hammock. i just wanted to try a blackbird before i brought....i learned my lesson once

Is anyone willing to part with their hammock for an evening/ or set up for a demonstration/or even be willing to do an overnight trip anytime soon

Any takers would be greatly welcomed

I would definitely recommend attending a group hang, there will be plenty of gear there to try out and see, and also make friends with your fellow board members who will be much more willing to let you borrow their stuff..

if its any consulation, I bought the BB blind and went off of what forum memebers suggested and the research I did. Not to switch topics but what is it about the HH you did not like and hope to find in the BB. I bought the BB over the HH by comparing reviews of members and deciding which one suits my needs the best. If you like hammock hanging and did not like the HH for XYZ reasons, then the BB may work for you.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

    MY Main HH problems

it is cut on a right handed asm cut and i found i like to lay the other way (shug showed the bb can be layed in the other way in one of his videos)

i also found i tend to lay more on the netting instead of the hammock in the hennessey (im sure my way of laying not the hennessey s problem)

I got a bottom entry one and it is just more of a hassle than i top loading one (cant sew to add a zipper and dont wanna pay a bunch extra for a zipper when i can get a top entry with zipper eg bb for similiar price to basic hennessey explorer

i just cant get on with it...i know i like hammocks cause i love my ENO one hennessey was just not right for me

Take mom for a drive up to the mountains. The Hot Springs area is a nice place to visit and you can stop by the hang for a little while.
