    Cat cut or rectangle?

I am finally going to start my first tarp. Any suggestions on which is preferred Cat cut or rectangle? I know the rectangle will probably be easier to do.

What are the advantages of the Cat cut tarp?

    Thanks,
    Brian

OOPS, Sorry if this should have been in the DIY area.

The cat-cut will easier to pitch more taut, less wrinkles.

For the record, you can have a rectangular tarp with cat-cut edges. Works good.

The cat-cut isn't much harder to make. You just have the extra step of laying out the curves. Worth it, in my opinion.

Thanks Jerry, Any picture of one of these tarps? I am not so good at imagining how to do something.
