Hey Jim,

I actually agree with you...Awesome is totally overused. It means "Deserving of awe" or "Inspiring awe". I try hard not to use it in everyday vocabulary for that reason...there aren't many things that are truly awesome.

I disagree, though, that hammockforums in not Awesome

Compared to other internet community experiences, newcomers to this site often experience feelings similar to the awesome sights you mentioned earlier. You (and all of us!) are part of a metaphorical Grand Canyon Teton Sunrise

Yeah this is quite the special place! There really is not as friendly of a forum online as this!

I have had some gear kick downs from other member and have made some good friends here!

My 16 y/o Godson is now using, and using liberally, the term "sick" for anything he deems to be acceptable.
