They would have to be mini-playing cards to satisfy the gram wieners of course.
And just whooooooom would we get to pose for the picture of the joker!?
Hey SlowHike,
I believe HF cards would be a good idea.

The matter of providing chance acquaintences with information has concerned me, so I have carried calling cards for over 46 years whenever I carried my own identification.
My current calling card has my full name, email, and phone featured prominently as an American might, and my given name in English, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Russian, Greek and Arabic as a quick courtesy. A standard QR "Quick Recognition" block has this info and ancedotal details such as I'm a retired intelligence officer with a list of enviable associations. Those with mathematical talents can decode the playful message in my phone number.
Every adult might consider having a calling card. If you are a memorable individual, then trust the recipient of the card will remember the context.
Here is what I use:

I think it's a great idea.
What about getting some into the HF store, with simply the logo and motto on it?
Packs of 100 maybe? That way the proceeds could go to supporting Hammock Forums.

HF playing cards would be ace!, pun intended.
ArtsCow does custom cards for pretty cheap...you can even save a template and and then make it public. They let you do standard playing cards with a custom back, or a deck of cards with both sides custom:

I'm a ham radio operator and lots of folks use QSL Cards to confirm contacts with one another. Lots of places make custom cards where you put your name on them, location, and maybe a custom photo background or artwork. I made business cards straight off of Microsoft Word and printed them on a perforated sheet I bought at Staples and they worked great too. I put my Podcast Logo on them and my web site URL this way people I meet on the trail and interview can look it up on the web when they get home. Here's just one quick site I found

Here's an online QSL Card creator that works pretty good.

Here's what a QSL Card looks like if you've never seen one.
The only problem I see with playing cards, at least in the context of the OP, is if you hand one out, then later are playing solitaire,,,,
I like the idea of a business type card, used to have a GREAT program for making them, but that was 3 computers ago. For me, at least when I'm hiking, the best way to get in touch with me is to PM me here at HF. And, just like Poppabear says, I'm always scrambling for paper & pen, this would be SO MUCH easier.
So if we can make our own, or get them at the HF store, I'd like that.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
I'd like to help. I can design a series of cards. I like the idea of photo cards where we can feature some of the top rated HF photos with the logo and some basic info on the back.
I've been using GotPrint.com for some time. They have great rates and make a good product.
This is just a quick mash-up. If we use the 'Basic Hammock Camping' graphic, I would bring it up to date and scale it properly.
You can order 100 full color (4/4) cards from GotPrint for $14.
