Hammock stakes

I use a small nylon bag and put the stakes in "point up" and keep the bag in a side pocket on my pack.

Three of my four sets have small holes drilled into them, this allows me to have short loops of Zing-It tied to each one. Each loop is then hooked with a small S-Biner and then hooked to a small loop on my pack.

When I leave them dangling, they act as bear bells. If I don't want them clanging, then I just tie them together with a short cord, or tuck them into a small pocket, or a strap on outside of the pack.
