howdy all

i was thinking about the uq, how do they attach to the hammock?
also would they work with a net-rope hammock? i would like to
make one and give it a try.

would i need more than one for the different kinds of hammocks
i have?

There are variations but generally the UQ is attached to the hammock suspension with bungee cord. The bungee allows the UQ to make gentle contact with the bottom of the hammock. On some UQs the bungee is attached to fixed points at the corners. On others the bungees run the full length of the UQ in sewn channels on the quilt's long sides.

Most quilts work well with a variety of hammock models though a net-rope hammock might cause the UQ to snag and prevent it from moving freely.

To avoid reinventing the wheel, do some searching of the forum for instructions or links to instructions.
