    HH adjustable ridge line

I'd like to have an adjustable ridge line on my HH Deep Jungle, if I could, without altering the existing suspension. I'm using the SMC rings/garda hitch and that's working well. Since the ridge line on this hammock is structural, it would necessarily need to be fixed rigidly to the suspension. So it seems that all I really need is a knot on each end. Sounds simple but I suspect there's more to it than that.

I hope this topic hasn't been discussed to death. I did search for previous threads but didn't find what I was looking for. Any ideas on an adjustable ridge line for my HH are much appreciated.

With the attached bug netting you would only be able to make it have more sag/shorter. Then your netting would be baggier then too. Easy enough to get to the ridgeline if you take one of the end covers of though.

my goal is a longer ridgeline - flatter lay. bug net - hadn't thought of that. I've recently had the 2QZQ mod #4 installed on this hammock though, and if the ridgeline were adjustable I could let it out when not using the bug net, then back in during skeeter season.

What about a long, amsteel/nacrabiner type setup in which one end had a closeable loop and the other a series of knots, preset along the ridgeline for my preferred lengths? One knot for long and one for short.

need a way to keep the loop closed tight.
