Eno double for a newbi

Thanks for the tip on the bugnet from WB, its not listed on the accessories page bit it is listed on the link for the traveler hammock.

Does the bugsock on papa smurfs page have no zipper, like a actual sock? I think the zipper would make it easier, anyone have any tips on this?

It's basically a tube with 2 cinch cords on both ends. I made my own over the weekend and it works well.

Well its been almost a year.... now I own two hammocks. That original HH and a ENO DN. I still haven't picked a UQ yet. Camped into the 20s last season with the help of my kelty 0 degree bag but really want a UQ and a tarp for my ENO for this winter.

I use a Warmer blanket/tarp for an UQ. It works good but you have to do some simple modifications to it.

I have had the ENO DN for three years and its been a nice hammock to start with. The bug bag works OK for me but is bulky and heavy, if your a backpack get the WB bug net. The slap straps do stretch a lot, an adjustable structural ridge line helps keep the sag constant and is nice to have anyway, read the posts. There are a lot of better choices. Mine are being replaced and going to my son this weekend. The tarp a is a must and if you have to have now, a wally world will work. It is ugly and noise in the rain but quite water and wind resistant. The noha 9 fits in a diamond set up but the 12 as a rectangle will cover more and the corner ends can be closed together, same with a 12 foot wally tarp. And a tarp dose not replace a bug net but a therma-cell and deet may. But take a tarp
