Does anyone have handy, the distance between the short-side corner tie-outs of the MacCat Deluxe?

I am considering a pole pocket mod on a Deluxe. It seems to me that in keeping with [your] OES general construction philosophy a center short-side edge tie-out & attendant reinforcement would make the best foundation; alleviating concerns for possible high loading of an otherwise unsupported edge seam.

A properly supported pole tie at the peak installed during original construction might be another area where structural integrity could be better maintained.

I am going to be ordering the tarp soon and would love to hear what you and others think about this.
